Reunited!

My mom is currently here visiting me in Peru and I could not be happier! Going a whole year without seeing my mom is just too long! Two of my aunts and my cousin were also here visiting me and it has been amazing to be able to share the beauty and all that entails the culture of this wonderful country that I am living in.

My mom and aunt Wendy arrived in Lima and we spent a full day there and then headed to Huaraz, then went to Cuzco, and then to Ica (in the desert) and to a wild life reserve on some islands off the coast. I am trying to show them the diversity of some of the awesome things that Peru has to offer.

Families united :)
As you can see, we have done many things and have been having a wonderful time! And the fun isn't over yet because now my mom is going to come and stay in my village with me! I can't wait for her to see where I live, where I work, and to  meet my Peruvian family!

My cousin Boston and I hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and it was AMAZING so it deserves it's own blog post which I will put up soon.

Sending lots of hugs from Peru!
Love, Kendra and Jenny
